Harvest Date - June 2020
Timothy hay is grass hay, but the "cuts" on the Timothy hay are very different. My farmers cut ALL their hay a couple of weeks before other farmers. Even though their yield is lower, the quality is better and the hay is younger and contains more nutrition.
1st Cut Timothy Hay
1st cut Timothy is cut in June and July. It has a beautiful green color, has more stem and seed heads than the other cuts. It is high in fiber and is cut early so there is plenty of nutrition in the hay. This is still more coarse hay than bluegrass, orchard grass, 2nd or 3rd cut Timothy hay because the stems are still there. This is key hay for animals who need more fiber in their diets.

Far better than the Kaytee powder I used to buy for my bunny.
I had to change vendors for the 1st cut Timothy hay I always use for my pet rabbits. Your hay is wonderful, thank you for a great quality product. Please keep it up! Dani
My little Chester loves it. He gets excited and starts popcorning when he sees me bring his hay out.
My Thumpy loves the first cut Timothy hay. Great quality. I love the fact my bunny is eating even more fiber now! I definitely recommend this hay.
Great 1st cut! I use 1st cut when my bun is going through a moly to make sure he is getting enough fiber. The strands were very fresh and he really enjoys this hay,
