Organic Oat Hay

Harvest Date - July 2020

Our Oat Hay is Organic and harvested in the milk stage. This allows the hay to remain greener. While it means a lower yield at harvest for our grower that's ok because the result is an excellent hay for your guinea pig, rabbit, or chinchilla.

The oat is also softer than when harvested in later stages. This is a great hay to mix in so your beloved furry pal gets what they need for their overall health. Just like in the wild where they would eat a variety of greens, they need it at home too!

Green, full of fiber—and yummy!

My rabbits go through this hay in a matter of weeks even though I also supplement with orchard and meadow hays. This is their favorite. It is very fresh and great for their digestion and teeth. I order the 25-pound bale and it is gone in about a month. Have ordered many times and will definitely keep ordering in the future. Thanks, KMS Hayloft!

Oat hay

I have a herd of 6 GPs that lives on Bluegrass due to human allergies. I got this oat hay to add some variety to their diet. What a treat! They loved it! Finished the whole serving at one go!
